SPRAY PAINTING
ULTRASONIC WELDING
HOT FOIL BLOCKING
We have specialised, state-of-the-art spray painting equipment and employ time-served professional spray painters. Glossbrook is happy to undertake any spray painting as a post-moulding operation.
This process can be utilised in those components that require opposite ‘halves’ to be sealed together. The result is a stronger and less alignment-error prone alternative to gluing.

Print of any colour can be added to components with hot foil blocking. As the description suggests, the required wording, logo, etc is applied to an injection-moulded component using special foil that is heated onto the component with hot foil blocking machinery. The end result is rather like a transfer that lasts for many, many years.

As the process description suggests, ultra-high frequency sound waves are used to vibrate the adjoining faces of mouldings to such an extent that sufficient heat is generated to ‘weld’ these together. The process is suitable for components moulded in some materials only – this is something we can advise you on.

Working in conjunction with customers and our paint suppliers, we can also undertake R & D work to find the paint or coating that is best suited to a particular application.
