Precision mould tool manufacturers, injection
moulders,
and vacuum platers.
(ISO9001 registered)
To manufacture the highest quality components, the
injection moulding machinery has to be accurate, well
maintained and the process parameters have to be accurately
controlled. That is why our machines are
regularly maintained and calibrated to ensure
consistently optimised performance.
Glossbrook has 20 injection moulding machines
ranging from 25 tonne to 440 tonne. 14 are
microprocessor controlled and 6 have digital
PLC control.
Our
larger machines are fitted with Sepro fully
automated robots that provide fast and efficient
removal of mouldings from the machines. Sprue
removal, packing and separating operations can also be programmed.
Glossbrook has recently invested in closed loop feeder systems
for 5 machines that mainly carry out high volume production runs. The system
consists of proportional hopperloaders, robotic sprue pickers, and beside
machine granulators that reprocess any waste sprues and feed then back into
the production process. All these processes are strictly controlled and computerised
set-up sheets are used to control all process parameters so that both quality
and efficiency are maintained within the production process.
Microprocessor
Control
Provides fast and user-friendly access to injection
moulding machinery. All our newer machinery is microprocessor-controlled and
provides state-of-the-art control over injection / plasticising, mould opening
/ closing movement, ejection, core pulling, robot interfacing, quality monitoring
and production control parameters.
Materials
Processing
Years of experience and knowledge in material processing
provide Glossbrook with the ability to produce technical moulded
components in a variety of engineering plastics from glass filled Acetal and
Nylon to polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) - all with a variety of end uses. Industries
for which components are manufactured and supplied include medical, computer,
electrical and textile.
Quality
Glossbrook have full ISO9001 accreditation and operate rigorous, pro-active Quality Control Procedures to ensure consistent and high quality standards. Quality procedure documents are maintained
for every component we produce. These are issued at the start of each production
run and fully instruct machine operators and assembly workers as to what constitutes
imperfections in a given component or assembly. Quality is therefore built
into production even before inspection.Even though we take pre-emptive quality deviation
measures, we still operate strict inspections on batches of components before
they leave our premises. In the unlikely event that we do receive a quality
complaint, remedial action is taken to ensure problems are rectified swiftly
and to our customer’s satisfaction.
We operate
full traceability, through to operators and workers responsible for output
and the exact batches of raw materials used in component production.
